Desperate Search for Mum Missing After Mysterious Disappearance in Kirkdale

The family of a young mum from Kirkdale are growing increasingly desperate after she vanished without a trace nearly a week ago. Louise Shaw, 28, hasn’t been seen since she was spotted on Garnett Avenue at around 3.15pm on Friday 31 May, according to Liverpool Echo.

Louise is described by police as white, about 5ft 7in tall, slim, with long black hair. She’s known to have a nose piercing and several distinctive tattoos, which could help identify her. Among them are an owl and butterfly in the centre of her chest, a striking blue tiger on her left thigh, a dolphin on her lower left leg, and a tattoo showing a woman with two children on her lower right leg, reported the Sun.

When she was last seen, Louise was wearing a black vest, black leggings and lilac trainers, according to Merseyside Police. Officers are urging the public to come forward with any information, no matter how small, that could help trace her whereabouts.

Her disappearance has left her loved ones absolutely heartbroken. In an emotional statement released by the family through police, they pleaded directly to Louise. “Louise, this message is from all your family – please let someone know you are safe, we are all worried about you and your children really want their mum to come home.”

The pain felt by her family was echoed in a heartfelt Facebook post that has been widely shared across the local community. “Please can you all share, my daughter has been missing since Saturday,” the post reads. “She has two young children who just want their mummy. Louise isn’t well and we just want to get her the help she needs or at least know she is safe. Louise Shaw, 28, from the Kirkdale area.”

Locals have rallied online to spread the word and raise awareness, as concern grows with each passing day. The family have made it clear that Louise’s wellbeing is their only priority and they’re desperate just to know she’s safe.

Police are treating the case as a high priority and are asking anyone who may have seen Louise or knows where she might be to contact them immediately. They’ve asked people to call 999 in an emergency, or to report sightings or information through the Merseyside Police website. With each day that passes, her family’s fears grow. But they’re holding onto hope that someone out there has the key piece of information that could bring Louise back home to her children.

Anyone who’s seen someone matching Louise’s description or who has heard anything, no matter how insignificant it might seem, is being urged to come forward. Right now, what matters most is getting her the support she needs and reuniting her with her young children who are longing to see their mum again.
